We are winners again! Learn about our impact in the Ingenio Awards 2022
Together with Federación Colombiana de Municipios, we are the winners of the Fedesoft Ingenio Awards in the category of Success Stories 2022 in the Government sector.
The Colombian Federation of the Software and Related Information Technology Industry (Fedesoft), has been in the industry for more than 30 years, strengthening the development of software in the country, becoming a nationally recognized organization for its commitment to the pursuit of public policies that position Colombia as a competitive supplier of different technologies worldwide.
Annually, the organization makes this award for companies in our country dedicated to the development of software and related technologies, which create solutions to positively impact different economic sectors. Within the category in which we received the award, companies dedicated to generating digital maturity in healthcare, finance, government, industry and services are recognized.
The Executive President of Fedesoft, Ximena Duque, summarizes the objective and creation of this award as “an idea to show why Colombia is the origin of software and to tell stories of how technology transforms lives, transforms companies, generates productivity, and how this technology is also Colombian”.
During this tenth edition, we were awarded in the “Success Stories” category in the Government sector, together with Federación Colombiana de Municipios, for the platform of the Integrated System of information on fines and penalties for traffic violations – SIMIT. This recognition supports the transformation of the services provided by our government through a solution that strengthens the traffic authorities in the exercise of the control for the respect of traffic regulations and the protection of life, but also facilitates citizens to pay their traffic fines, generating a fast, easy and friendly experience.
Thanks to the evolution of SIMIT, this year we managed to get more than 10 million users to use our digital services ecosystem; we have delivered more than 6,500 devices for the authorities, we implemented solutions such as kiosks, citizen attention centers, mobile units, among others; which has allowed us to support the management of the authority in more than 300 traffic entities. In addition, we have contributed to keep citizens informed and they can access the more than 22 thousand points of payment and interest that we have nationwide.
We have understood that technology serves to support the relationship between governments and citizens, through the facilitation of procedures in large and small municipalities throughout the country. The recognition of our solution gives us greater impetus to continue working together to generate well-being for people and to be an ally of government administrations.
