Let us tell you about some of our achievements in these 26 years of operation
26 years ago, Hugo Zuluaga and Juan Pablo Ramirez started building a technology company, which over the years began to expand with the purpose of improving the mobility experience of citizens and help the continuous improvement of government services and procedures.
Given the experience acquired and the excellent results in the transit, transportation and mobility sector in several cities in Colombia, we were able to expand to key countries such as Brazil and Ivory Coast. Thanks to our growth, we are present in more than 80 cities and contribute annually to more than 40 million people in our physical and virtual channels.
Throughout our history we have been able to develop innovative models that incorporate artificial intelligence, data analytics, automated processes, integration of external databases, among others, which have helped governments to have a two-way, agile and transparent communication with people, which translates into user satisfaction.
We also have our own software factory, where we have been able to consolidate a portfolio with more than 30 solutions based on modular architecture, while working under excellent DevOps practices that have CMMI DEV/3 appraisal. We have ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 quality certifications in our processes as well.
Since 2021 we are part of the Gov TechLab list, in which we qualify as a strategic ally for local and national governments in Latin America, given the solutions we offer to improve the quality of service to citizens and our efforts to strengthen the authority.
Currently, the Colombian Government recognizes Quipux’s R&D unit. It is here where we are dedicated to design and provide software applications for citizens, which allow to minimize the presentation of physical documents required and reduce travel times to the physical offices, that way people go to them only for the completion of the procedure or service.
In order to achieve all that we have accomplished and to continue strengthening our ideas and capabilities, we are constantly working with institutions that are also dedicated to innovation, such as: the Center for Technology in Government (CTG) of the University of Albany (NY, USA), the Quebec Transportation Association of Canada (AQTR – Canada), the GIDIA research group of the National University of Colombia (UNAL), among others.
On dates like today, we remember with joy and pride all the efforts made by the company to contribute to the transformation of each city in which it is present, as well as to contribute to the quality of life and safety of the people who live there. These 26 years have been characterized by the challenges we had to overcome and the achievements we have reached, as well as our desire to continue working to contribute more and more to the cities and their governments.
Happy 26th, Quipux.
